DEMKOVIC is a darkly rich and dynamic musical experience brought to you by Richard Demko and Suzanne Vick.

Rick and Suzanne met in 2006 and performed together in the CT-based jam/funk band, Electric Mayhem. DEMKOVIC, however, is nothing like the music you might have heard from these two in the past.

Utilizing Rick’s incredible talents as a keyboardist, songwriter and producer, and Suzanne’s extraordinary vocal ability, DEMKOVIC is creating a style that's purely their own.  Vick & Demko desrcibe their sound as operatic rock with elements of pop, Baroque, industrial, R& B and HipHop.

DEMKOVIC'S debut album, "Breathe" is now available worldwide!

RICHARD DEMKO is a classically-trained pianist who started taking piano lessons at the age of 5. He went on to study drums, guitar, bass, and eventually, the art of production and engineering. Richard has played in various local bands around the state, most notably Electric Mayhem where he played keyboards and B3 organ along side the stunning and powerful Suzanne Vick.

Richard honed his Production and Engineering skills with Vic Steffens at Horizon Music Group in West Haven, CT, and has worked with numerous local, regional, and national bands in the studio. Richard also had the opportunity to mix some of the nations biggest bands and artists when he engineered for the legendary Toads Place in New Haven, CT.

After a 2-year musical hiatus, Richard started writing music again in 2016, and as the creativity flowed from his fully restored, late 1800’s Bosendorfer Conservative series Grand Piano, he could think of absolutely no one else to work with other than his band mate and friend, Suzanne Vick. Demko states, “It is truly an honor and privilege to be able to work with Sue, as we have always had a musical chemistry that blends extremely well and has helped shape the DEMKOVIC sound.”

Described by many as a “powerhouse vocalist,” SUZANNE VICK is a commanding and versatile performer who has sung with numerous bands and artists throughout the region including Creepin’ Charlie, Electric Mayhem, The Light Hearts, the Jay Willie Blues Band, Seth Adam, Mia Fanali and her current cover band, Pop City.

Suzanne has released five original titles to date, including her debut album, The Brightness of Orchids in 2009 for which she was voted “Best Singer/Songwriter” in the New Haven Advocate’s 2010 & 2011 Grand Band Slams (reader’s poll). Her music has been featured on regional and internet radio shows such as RuKus Radio, Butterflies Radio, Jango.com and the Women of Substance Radio Show, and is available on iTunes and CDBaby.com.

Classically trained as a teen, Suzanne went on to study jazz improv at Berklee College of Music in Boston and has been teaching voice, vocal performance and songwriting for over 12 years. Suzanne is excited to have the opportunity to work with Rick again and to utilize her classical training and full vocal range, spanning close to four octaves, in DEMKOVIC.
